Steve has over 35 years’ experience as an avocado nurseryman and grower. Steve has developed Lynwood from a small-scale nursery to the largest avocado nursery in New Zealand. Steve is the chairman of the New Zealand Avocado Nursery Association (NZANA).

Stuart has been involved in the Avocado nursery business since the early 90’s and has developed orchards as well as being involved in wider horticulture industry. Stuart has overseen the growth of Lynwood from 15 staff to almost 40 staff and has various roles including business management, forward planning, grower liaison/sales, corporate and overseas sales and joint ventures

Customer & Technical Support
Sarah has been involved in the horticulture industry for nearly 30 years and more specifically with avocados for the past 15 years. Sarah’s role includes managing customer relationships and providing technical support both in the nursery and to growers. Sarah is also involved in the technical aspects of our international business

Bryan has been involvement in the avocado industry since the late 90’s, assisting in the development of a number of orchards. Bryan’s work history includes 25+ years of business management and ownership in other industries. The last 4 years Bryan’s role has assisted with the growth requirements of Lynwood during its move from 15 to almost 40 staff.

Pip has worked in Administration and Garden Centres for the last 20 Years. Pip has been with Lynwood Avocado Nursery for three years and will help you place your orders, sort out the paperwork and arrange delivery of your trees.

Sonya joined the admin team a year ago. She helps with retail orders, dispatch and Non-Propagation Agreements. When she isn’t busy in the office she helps in the nursery as a rootstock grafter.
Nursery & Technical Manager
Amanda has been involved in the horticulture industry since the early 1990’s including citrus, kiwifruit, retail and avocados. Amanda’s role includes the day to day managing nursery production and technical issues within the nursery.
Stephen has been involved in horticulture for over 35 years, initially working on kiwifruit, citrus and avocado orchards, before spending 20 years in the retail sector. In his 5 years at Lynwood he has risen to joint Nursery Manager responsible for day to day plant production.
Seedling Nursery Manager
Melanie has had a lifelong interest in many aspects of horticulture and joined the Lynwood team in 2017. Her role is the coordination and management of the seedling department.
